The Google Pixel 7 event took place yesterday in New York on the 6th of October. Fans of Pixel products were eager to see the new Google Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro. However, to their surprise, the event also showcased the new Pixel Watch with built-in Fitbuilt as well.
The new Google Pixel 7 sports a newer look compared to the Google Pixel 6. It also sports the new Tensor G2 chips, the upgraded version of the Tensor chips introduced on the Pixel 6. These chips will provide developers access to various AI and machine learning features to develop new software.
Both the phones are pretty much identical, with the most noticeable difference being the 6.7” 120Hz screen size of the Pixel 7 Pro compare to the 6.3” 90 Hz screen of the Pixel 7.
In addition, both phones have a 10.8MP front camera. On the back, both phones have a 50MP primary camera paired with a 12MP ultra wide shooting camera. The Pixel 7 Pro has the added advantage of having a 48MP 5x telephoto zoom to take the highest quality pictures possible.
Apart from the Pixel 7 smartphones, Google also unveiled the new Pixel Watch, the brand’s first smartwatch. It supports Bluetooth and GPS, along with a Gorilla Glass 5 display. It also has a 32GB flash storage, along with 2GB SDRAM. Its best feature is the integration of Fitbit to help you keep track of your vitals and health.
All three of these devices are available for preorders, with them hitting the shelves on 13th October. The Pixel Watch is priced at $349.99, while the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro are priced at $$599 and $899, respectively.
